Justice Tamberlin's E-Discovery Legacy

Justice Tamberlin is set to retire from the Federal Court of Australia on 30 March 2009.

His Honour has heard a number of significant matters, including the Visa & Mastercard v Reserve Bank of Australia litigation, which contributed to significant credit card scheme reforms for Australia.

Notwithstanding, it is His Honour's contribution to electronic discovery law from the Sony Music and Jarra Creek decisions, which will remain relevant in coming years as disputes arise in relation to interpretation and application of the Federal Court's recently revised Practice Note 17.
